Who is DP for?

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Program (DP) is open to any student aged 16-19.

IB World School students develop strong academic, social and emotional characteristics by remaining committed to the IB learner profile. A DP student is expected to perform well academically, better than students on other programs.

A DP student is expected to demonstrate and develop the following characteristics:

• Thinking independently and driving their own learning
• Taking part in program of education that can lead their to some of the highest ranking universities around the world
• Becoming more culturally aware, through the development of a second language
• Being able to engage with people in an increasingly globalized, rapidly changing world.
